Zhaikmunai is an independent oil and gas exploration and production enterprise. We are focused on creating long-term shareholder value through discovery and development of oil and gas reserves as well as the production and sale of crude oil, stabilised condensate, LPG and dry gas. Zhaikmunai is currently developing the Chinarevskoye field in northwestern Kazakhstan. The field is located in the northern part of the oil-rich Pre-Caspian Basin, one of the largest oil-producing regions in Central Asia. We are committed to a long-term strategy to develop this field in an efficient, environmentally and socially responsible way.

Zhaikmunai's goal is to maximise the conversion of its existing probable reserves into proven reserves and a significant part of its possible reserves into probable reserves to increase the Group's long-term exploration and production potential. To achieve this, the Company's activities are geared towards increasing production and reserves, monetising gas reserves and improving flexibility of transportation links.

During the last six years, Zhaikmunai has invested over one billion US dollars in the Chinarevskoye field, primarily focused on increasing drilling and improvement of the production infrastructure. Zhaikmunai has completed its Gas Treatment Facility (GTF) in the second half of 2011. With the production ramp-up nearly completed, the Gas Treatment Facility has brought Zhaikmunai towards another level of development and growth to increase shareholder value.
